Sometime after our father passed away in 2002, Charles (son #1), began to collect all the poems and songs written by Dad through the years with a view to having them published in one collection. Wanda Nickel, wife to Steve (son #6) transcribed them all and Jay Holden, husband to Debbie (grandchild #2) did layout for a coffee table book. Due to unforeseen circumstances and some health challenges, Charles was unable to complete the project, so Joyce (the youngest, and only daughter) decided to publish the poems and songs on a blog, fully searchable and accessible to anyone at no cost.
This blog is a labour of love, established for the benefit of Frank's family, friends and those who have enjoyed the ministry of the Nickel Family Singers over the years. There are several hundred poems, songs, photos, videos and stories which will be posted here over time until all known poems have been published.
